Freak-fuelled fun at venues and festivals in the UK and beyond. Incorporating live music, an alternative salon, walkabout acts, immersive decor, twisted sideshow acts and underground art!!
THE FREAK BOUTIQUE is a South West based collective of artists, performers, musicians, and tech crew, celebrating underground/DIY and punk art, music and culture - with a taste for the perverse, the twisted and the bizarre!
Inspired by the style and aesthetic of US carny culture and freak shows of old, like PT Barnum's Greatest Show On Earth and the Coney Island Fairground, and the attitude and aesthetic of the Punk and Fetish communities, we are bringing together all these elements into an immersive variety show of alternative live music, sideshow, cabaret and freak-fuelled entertainment.
THE FREAK BOUTIQUE SALON incorporates God Shave The Queen (punk barber shop), The Twattoo Parlour (body art studio) and The Freak Unique Photobooth as a self-contained one-stop-shop for quirky body art and extreme hair styles at alternative Arts events and festivals. Our talented team of artists, stylists and photographers provide a fun and freaky take on the salon experience in a portable, purpose-built, fully immersive set.
THE FREAK BOUTIQUE LIVE STAGE has featured at Boomtown Fair (2015), hosting an array of live music styles - from punk and ska, to folk, to hiphop and electronica - and have hosted live music events at estblished venues in Bristol and London... watch this space for upcoming gigs and festival venues in 2016!!
THE 'FREAKS OFF THE LEASH' WALKABOUT TROUPE provide freaky fun and frolics at any event!! With a range of amazing costumes, bizarre props and twisted sideshow acts, the Freaks are guaranteed to turn heads and boggle brains wherever they appear!!
The crew have come together from many different projects, such
as CircoSinistre (UK & Europe 2011/14), Lucky Cat Musements (Boomtown 2013/14), The Big Malarkey Festival (2013-present), Freekuency Festival Live Stage (Portugal 2012/13), and The Bordello Stage (Mischief Festival 2012/13), bringing a wide range of skills and experience to the table to ensure a versatile and vibrant live performance venue.
